RCA Women’s Run is a celebration of womanhood and a platform for compassion in action. This all-women running event focuses on supporting and responding to challenges faced by women and girls by delivering meaningful, life-changing support. 

Launched in 2025, the inaugural edition brought together 500 women who ran and walked through Abuja to support 500 schoolgirls across six public schools, providing each with six months’ worth of sanitary pads. The first run went beyond the finish line, demonstrating the powerful impact that can be created when women come together with purpose.

Building on this foundation, the second edition of the RCA Women’s Run will take place on Saturday, February 14th, 2026. This year’s mission is dedicated to supporting women at critical stages of life by sponsoring rent for 100 widows and providing post-birth care kits to 100 postpartum mothers. An initiative of Run Club Abuja, the capital city’s leading fitness community, RCA Women’s Run continues to grow as a movement where every step taken helps create stability, care and dignity for women across the city of Abuja.
